Rep5x is an academic research project conducted at the University of Twente as part of a Master’s thesis in Industrial Design Engineering. We collect minimal data necessary for research purposes and community support:

• Community interactions on Discord and GitHub for research analysis
• Build reports and performance data submitted voluntarily by users
• Website analytics to understand project reach and engagement
• Contact form submissions for project support
• Email addresses for project updates (optional subscription only)

All data collection follows University of Twente ethics guidelines and EU GDPR requirements.

Use of Information

Collected data is used solely for:

• Academic research into 5-axis printing adoption and barriers
• Improving project documentation and resources
• Supporting community members with technical questions
• Analysing project impact and user adoption barriers for Master’s thesis research

No personal data is shared with third parties or used for commercial purposes.
